Neuro for AI & AI for Neuro: Towards Multi-Modal Natural Intelligence

26 January, 2026 - 27 January, 2026

Description:
The NeuroAI 2026 Workshop will bring together researchers in AI, computational neuroscience, and neuromorphic engineering to advance multimodal natural intelligence. The “Neuro → AI” theme will highlight how principles from cortical circuits inspire efficient architectures like transformers and graph models. The “AI → Neuro” theme will show how machine learning drives new insights into neural dynamics from large-scale data. By uniting biological insights with scalable AI tools, the workshop aims to bridge theory, experiment, and application.
Research Focus Areas:
  • Brain-inspired Algorithms
  • Neuromorphic Engineering
  • Foundation Models for Neuroscience
  • AI Models for Multimodal Data Analysis
Speakers:
  • Dmitri ‘Mitya’ Chklovskii – Flatiron Institute, New York, NY
  • Andreas Tolias – Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA
  • Mike Zheng – National University of Singapore, Singapore
